Spencer's mission has started. He will be in the MTC for 3 weeks and then head off to Scotland. Spencer emailed us soon after he arrived at the MTC. It was great to hear from him.

Hello Everyone! My time here at the MTC has been amazing so far! I'm not sure where to start. After my family dropped me off and we said our goodbyes, I was whisked away by a fellow missionary who had been tasked with helping me get started here. I first got an envelope of information and my room key, got my missionary tag, my MTC badge, and, to my surprise, I got an iPad . Apparently we all get electronic devices here at the MTC , even if our missions don't currently have them. After that, I was led in getting the rest of my books and materials before being taken to my room here at the MTC : 13M - 219. After dropping off most of my stuff in the room, I was led to meet with my district. My district is fantastic! My companion is Elder G_______ and he's great! He's from Canada and loves basketball.
